About Shanti Rajan

During Shanti's time working in the health sector, she has had the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life. Having worked previously in Singapore, Shanti has a deeper global awareness and understanding of other cultures. Whilst based in Singapore, she worked alongside the local community as well as with the Singapore American Expartriate Community.(SACAC).

Shanti's therapeutic approach is non confrontational, non judgmental and consistent with mutual respect. She specialises in working with clients who are affected by mental health related issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, trauma and grief. Shanti does not believe in a 'one size fits all' therapeutic approach. Therefore, each client receives a tailored treatment approach to ensure that effective positive outcomes are achieved.   

Shanti is a registered member of New Zealand Association of  Counsellors and is also an active member of New Zealand Association of Positive Psychology. 

Qualifications

Masters in Social Science in Counselling - University of South Australia 

Diploma in Psychology- The Institute of Arts and Sciences, Texas

Diploma in Professional Counselling - Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.
